| Resumen: | Economic Dynamical Systems can be studied in the frame of a new approach based on the definition of regimes (symbols) and their time evolution. In the present work, the probabilistic theory of runs is suggested as a useful tool to develop qualitative analysis of these symbolic sequences. Some statistical tests are described and some economic applications are included too. |
