Incidencia de las mediaciones narrativas en el vínculo adulto-bebé, facilitadas por el taller clínico-narrativo

Abstract

La investigación que se presenta adopta el dispositivo de taller clínico-narrativo, que ya ha sido aplicado en niños escolares y de nivel inicial 4, para adaptarlo a la primera infancia (0-2 años). Se parte del supuesto que el libro-cuento infantil puede oficiar como objeto cultural intermediario en el vínculo adulto-bebé y se pone especial énfasis en caracterizar las transformaciones ocurridas en el vínculo, motivadas por mediaciones narrativas y enriquecidas por un dispositivo grupal. La investigación, de carácter cualitativa, se desarrolló en un aula de nivel inicial 1 de un jardín maternal de Montevideo con siete niños y dos maestras a cargo. Como objetivo más específico, se explora las manifestaciones tempranas del lenguaje oral y gestual en los bebés, en el marco de experiencias narrativas compartidas con adultos referentes. Asimismo, se analiza los componentes del taller clínico-narrativo que promueven y sostienen el vínculo adulto-bebé y se atiende al reconocimiento de eventuales señales de alerta respecto al desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas del bebé. El análisis de las observaciones se organiza en torno a cuatro dimensiones: la intersubjetividad, los procesos de simbolización, el investimento de los objetos culturales, y el encuadre institucional como mediador del vínculo. Se presenta un desarrollo teórico y antecedentes de investigaciones en primera infancia y se reseñan los principales hallazgos de la investigación.

This research adopts the clinical-narrative workshop as its central device, previously applied with preschool and early school-age children, and adapts it to early childhood (0–2 years). It is based on the premise that the picture book can serve as a cultural intermediary object within the adult–infant bond. The study places special emphasis on characterizing the transformations that occur in this bond, fostered by narrative mediations and enriched by a group setting. The research, qualitative in nature, was conducted in a Level 1 classroom of a nursery school in Montevideo with seven children and two teachers. More specifically, it explores the early manifestations of oral and gestural language in infants within the framework of shared narrative experiences with adult caregivers. It also analyzes the components of the clinical-narrative workshop that promote and sustain the adult–infant bond, while attending to potential early warning signs regarding the development of communicative abilities in infants. The analysis of the observations is organized around four dimensions: intersubjectivity, processes of symbolization, investment in cultural objects, and the institutional framework as a mediator of the bond. The study includes a theoretical development and a review of prior research on early childhood, as well as a synthesis of the main findings.
