Las ludotecas como servicios en bibliotecas : el caso del Centro Cultural de España en Montevideo

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo principal abordar la incorporación de las ludotecas como servicios en bibliotecas a partir del caso del Centro Cultural de España (CCE) en Montevideo. La selección de la institución se debe a que la autora de esta monografía trabaja en los servicios de ludoteca y mediateca. Partiendo de un enfoque cualitativo, se realiza revisión de literatura y entrevistas a informantes calificados para un posterior análisis e interpretación de la información recopilada junto a las experiencias de la autora. Se exponen propuestas y recomendaciones de servicios y actividades que la Mediateca puede implementar a través de la Ludoteca. Se concluye que es posible conjugar los servicios si se tienen en consideración, por un lado, sus características y particularidades, y por otro, sus puntos de contacto en relación al juego y la lectura.

The main objective of this paper is to address the incorporation of toy libraries as library services based on the case of the Centro Cultural de España (CCE) in Montevideo. The selection of the institution is due to the fact that the author of this monograph works in the toy library and media library services. Starting from a qualitative approach, a literature review and interviews with qualified informants are carried out for a subsequent analysis and interpretation of the information gathered together with the author's experiences. Proposals and recommendations for services and activities that the Media Library can implement through the Toy Library are presented. It is concluded that it is possible to combine the services if, on the one hand, their characteristics and particularities are taken into consideration, and on the other hand, their points of contact in relation to playing and reading.
