Curricularización de ALFIN en la educación superior militar : un aporte significativo de las Bibliotecas Académicas de la Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya

Abstract

A partir del siguiente trabajo se propone investigar la posibilidad de la inclusión de la Alfabetización en Información (ALFIN) dentro de los planes de estudios y mallas curriculares de las escuelas de formación y educación superior de la Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya (FAU). Se toma como punto de partida al Sistema de Bibliotecas Académicas (SIBA) en base a su articulación en las escuelas académicas de la FAU, integradas por: la Escuela Militar de Aeronáutica (EMA), la Escuela Técnica de Aeronáutica (ETA) y la Escuela de Comando y Estado Mayor Aéreo (ECEMA). La ALFIN con un uso extendido e importante en la educación superior y universitaria, actualmente pone de manifiesto nuevos procesos de integración y formación de conocimiento, a través de nuevas formas de uso y manejo de la información, que sitúan al individuo/estudiante como principal protagonista de los procesos. Ello genera nuevas interrogantes, que involucran a la alfabetización y a los diferentes procesos o ciclos de alfabetización y su impacto en cada individuo, según sus necesidades, posibilidades y su potencial. Esta investigación utiliza una metodología de corte cualitativo coordinado con un exhaustivo relevamiento bibliográfico, complementada con una entrevista a integrantes y actores de primera línea del sistema educativo de la FAU, a través de un relevamiento de las principales políticas y experiencias internacionales y regionales, con una mayor exhaustividad de las experiencias nacionales de inclusión y alfabetización digital realizadas y en actual funcionamiento en Uruguay.Se espera que los resultados de la presente investigación, generen las diferentes alternativas para la inclusión de la ALFIN en las estructuras académicas de la FAU, y sean de utilidad para lograr concretar en el menor tiempo posible, los procesos transalfabetizadores que contribuyan al perfeccionamiento de la calidad de la información y el conocimiento de los futuros profesionales aeronáuticos de Uruguay.

The following work, it is proposed to investigate the possibility of the curricularization of Information Literacy within the study plans and curricular meshes of the training and higher education schools of the Uruguayan Air Force (FAU). The System of Academic Libraries (SIBA) is taken as a starting point based on its articulation in the academic schools of the FAU, integrated by: the Military School of Aeronautics (EMA), the Technical School of Aeronautics (ETA) and the School Air Command and General Staff (ECEMA). IL, with widespread and important use in higher and university education, currently reveals new processes of integration and knowledge formation, through new forms of use and management of information, which place the individual/student as the main protagonist of the processes. This generates new questions, which involve literacy and the different literacy processes or cycles and their impact on each individual, according to their needs, possibilities and potential. This research uses a qualitative methodology coordinated with an exhaustive bibliographical survey and an interview with front-line members and actors of the FAU educational system, aligned with this, a survey of the main international and regional policies and experiences is carried out, with a Greater exhaustiveness of the national experiences of inclusion and digital literacy carried out and currently operating in Uruguay. It is expected that the results of this research, which generate the different alternatives for the inclusion of IL in the academic structures of the FAU, will be useful to achieve in the shortest possible time, the transliteracy processes that contribute to the improvement of the quality of the information and knowledge of future aeronautical professionals in Uruguay.
