¿Cuánto conocimiento adquieren las puérperas adolescentes sobre métodos anticonceptivos a través de redes sociales?

Abstract

Sabemos que nuestro país no es ajeno a la evolución de la tecnología, en estos últimos años podemos ver el gran protagonismo y la influencia que han cobrado las redes sociales en la vida de la mayoría de las personas, y cómo estas influyen de manera significativa en varios aspectos. Un gran porcentaje de la población que utiliza estos medios de comunicación, son jóvenes y adolescentes. Partiendo del interés por conocer cuán estrecho es ese vínculo entre las redes sociales y las decisiones que toman los adolescentes sobre su vida sexual, más específicamente sobre el método anticonceptivo, es que llevaremos a cabo un protocolo de investigación donde el objetivo principal, es conocer la influencia de las redes sociales en el acceso al conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos por parte de nuestra población objetivo. La elaboración de éste protocolo de investigación se realizó bajo las consideraciones éticas pertinentes teniendo en cuenta que en el desarrollo del mismo se vincula a seres humanos, para ello se utilizó el decreto N°158/19 elaborado por la Comisión Nacional de ética de la investigación, los principios básicos de la bioética y la ley de protección de datos personales N° 18.331, esta última contemplada para la elaboración de la herramienta de recolección de datos. Para efectuar esta investigación utilizaremos un enfoque metodológico de diseño cualitativo, de corte transversal de tipo descriptivo, prospectivo. La recolección de datos se obtendrán mediante entrevistas semi estructuradas anónimas que se realizarán en adolescentes que estén cursando la etapa puerperal hasta la etapa de puerperio alejado, que concurran al Centro de Salud Dr. A. Giordano en el segundo semestre del año 2022 para su control en salud. El tiempo previsto para la ejecución de esta investigación será aproximadamente de 10 meses, los cuales abarcan desde el comienzo de las entrevistas hasta la realización del informe final. Posteriormente se procederá a la revisión de los datos obtenidos donde se agruparan y analizarán los mismos mediante dimensiones de análisis diseñadas y establecidas con antelación. El procesamiento de datos se realizará de forma manual en base a las codificaciones diseñadas para el agrupamiento y discriminación de variables, que nos permitan determinar cuál es el vínculo y el grado de influencia de las redes sociales en la elección de métodos anticonceptivos, permitiendo cumplir con el propósito de nuestra investigación.

We know that our country is not an alien to the evolution of technology, in the last couple of years with social media as the protagonist and influencer in day to day life, impacting our younger and adolescent population the most, in a meaningful way. On the basis of our interest of knowing how far and linked social media and sexual desition making are, more specifically when it comes to birth control, is that we will be undertaking an investigation where the main objective is determining if there is indeed a correlation between the use of social media and birth control choosing for post partum adolescents. With this being said, we will start by doing research and validation of bibliographic material, allowing us to gain knowledge on the subject and its different areas, examining it carefully and in depth. Using both international and local material available. The making of the investigation protocol has been done under the pertinent ethical considerations, contemplating that the development of the same is associated to human beings under decree N°158/19 , made by the National Research and Ethics Commission, the basic principles of bioethics and the law of personal data protection N° 18.331, with the last one being contemplated in the elaboration of the data collection tool. To accomplish this investigation we will use a descriptive retrospective transversa method study. The data collection will be obtained through voluntary and anonymous surveys, to be done to an N number of postpartum adolescents, with no more than 3 months of puerperium, and taking their newborns to the pediatric controls at the Giordano Health Center, in the second semester of 2022. The time considered for the execution of the investigation will be of approximately 10 months, which covers from the initial interviews,and finalizes with the delivery of the report. Once this is completed we will proceed to review , cluster and quantify the data for later analysis. We will make use of statistical tools that will allow us to determine to which degree social media influences the contraceptive selection in our targeted population.
