Preservar nuestra memoria : perspectiva de una futura formación en conservación y restauración del patrimonio cultural material

Abstract

En un mundo globalizado, que tiende a la inmediatez, la conservación de la memoria colectiva, le exige a la comunidad científica el desafío de desarrollar líneas de investigación atentas a los problemas de prevención y conservación de los objetos que componen el patrimonio. El presente trabajo final de grado pretende realizar un acercamiento y aporte en lo que refiere a la formación académica formal en el área de Conservación del Patrimonio Material, describiendo la realidad de las conservadoras - restauradoras que se desempeñan en el país. Luego de realizar un análisis profundo de la información a una serie de conclusiones. La primera de ellas es la falta de formación formal en el área y para acceder a ella se deben hacerlo fuera del territorio nacional. La segunda, la escasez de recursos destinados al patrimonio cualquiera sea su tipología. Tercera, se destaca el poco conocimiento en materia de conservación preventiva, su metodología como las acciones que integra. La cuarta, la concientización de la sociedad en lo relativo al tema Patrimonial. Y por último, la necesidad de generar instancias de intercambio y destinar recursos para la investigación en esta área especializada dentro de la formación en gestión patrimonial.

In a globalized world, which tends to immediacy, the conservation of the memory of a society requires the scientific community the challenge of developing lines of research attentive to the problems of prevention and conservation of the objects that make up its heritage. The following final degree work intends to make an approach and contribution in regard to formal academic training in the area of Conservation of Material Cultural Heritage, describing the reality of the Conservators - Restorers who work in the country and know through their experience the realities they have faced and face on a daily basis. The qualitative approach methodology was used with an exploratory and descriptive nature to be able to answer the research questions. Through in-depth interviews with open and semi-open questions to four professional women with training in heritage conservation and restoration who currently work in the country. After conducting a thorough analysis of the information obtained, a series of conclusions were reached. The first of these is the lack of formal training in the area and to access it they must do so outside the national territory. The second is the scarcity of resources allocated to heritage, whatever its type. Third, the little knowledge regarding preventive conservation, its methodology and the actions it integrates stand out. The fourth, the awareness of society in relation to the Patrimonial issue. And finally, the need to generate instances of exchange and allocate resources for research in this specialized area within training in wealth management.
