Salud Mental Colectiva, la COVID y el mundo pos-pandemia

Abstract

Se presenta el tema de la Salud Mental Colectiva en el contexto de la pandemia por COVID, así como el impacto de la pandemia en el momento actual y en el mundo pos-pandemia, en el cual desde esa perspectiva se caracteriza como una crisis civilizatoria, crisis de una manera de vivir. El artículo expone la necesidad e importancia de una redefinición conceptual sobre salud, salud pública, salud mental. Tiene como objetivo mostrar relaciones de la pandemia con la Salud Mental Colectiva y el Buen Vivir. Explica el concepto de Buen Vivir. Se comenta la manera de enfrentar la pandemia por los gobiernos y el mercado en comparación con la respuesta que se plantea desde la medicina social. Presenta las tendencias en la pos- pandemia señalando que se intensifica el modelo actual, ecocida, extractivista, que pone en peligro la vida humana sobre el planeta, o surge como opción un modelo alternativo de cooperación y solidaridad que promueve la Salud Mental Colectiva y el Buen Vivir.
