Mujeres, amor y maternidad: maternidades en parejas lesbianas mediante tecnologías reproductivas

Abstract

En esta monografía se abordan las maternidades lesbianas logradas a través de la utilización de las tecnologías de reproducción asistida, desde una perspectiva feminista. Haciendo énfasis en cómo impacta la heteronormatividad en la búsqueda de esta maternidad, y por qué optar por una técnica de reproducción asistida. Se realiza un trabajo de análisis de las trayectorias de las mujeres lesbianas hacia la maternidad mediante estas tecnologías, basado en las categorías teóricas, feminismo maternidad, parentesco y heteronormatividad. Para la realización de dicho trabajo, se optó por la utilización de una metodología cualitativa, siendo escogida puntualmente, la técnica de entrevistas del tipo semi estructuradas. Durante las entrevistas se contempló la importancia de las técnicas de reproducción asistida y de la ley N°19167 para el cumplimiento del deseo de maternidad de estas mujeres. También se hicieron visibles los vacíos legales de dicha ley, la falta de información en distintos momentos del proceso, la obligación del casamiento para el registro del recién nacido y la elaboración de dicha ley desde una perspectiva heteronormativa.

This monography will address lesbian maternity achieved through the use of assisted reproductive technologies from a feminist perspective. Emphasizing how heteronormativity impacts the search for this motherhood, and why to opt for assisted reproductive technique. An analysis work will be carried out on the trajectories of lesbian women towards motherhood through these technologies, based on the theoretical categories, feminism-motherhood, kinship and heteronormativity. To carry out this work, the use of a qualitative methodology was chosen, with the technique of semi-structured interviews punctually being chosen. During the interviews, the importance of assisted reproductive techniques and of Law No. 19167 for the fulfillment of these women's desire for maternity were considered. The legal gaps in said law, the lack of information at different stages of the process, the obligation of marriage for the registration of the newborn and the drafting of said law from a heteronormative perspective were also made visible.
