Por una lectura política de la relación cuerpo-educación-enseñanza

Abstract

El estudio crítico de las relaciones entre educación, cuerpo y política es relativamente reciente en el campo de las ciencias humanas y sociales. El modo corriente en el que se piensa la educación del cuerpo identifica a este último con el organismo; se trata de una operación que encierra una paradoja: política de destitución de la política. Tras la idea de “recuperación del cuerpo” se han producido efectos extremadamente ambiguos, donde la biologización de lo político y la politización de lo biológico parece ser el riesgo extremo a la vez que el menos visible. Cuando se trata de educación física este aspecto se agudiza, tanto por el lugar exiguo e incómodo que se le atribuye a lo teórico en la formación de personal especializado, como por la débil presencia del término política en dicha formación, más allá de la referencia o incluso adherencia a partidos políticos.

The critical study of the relation between education, body and politics is relatively recent in the field of the human and social sciences. The current way in which the education of the body is thought identifies this one with the organism; it is an operation that encloses a paradox: policy of dismissal of politics. Behind the idea of “recuperation of the body” extremely ambiguous effects have been produced, where the biologitazion of the political and the politicization of the biological seems to be the extremely risky while the less visible. When related to physical education this aspect is heightened, not only because the meager and uncomfortable place that is attributed to theory in the formation of specialized personal but also because of the weak presence of the politic term used in such formation, beyond the reference or even the adherence to political parties
