El uso de los test como herramientas para la intervención psicomotriz: su valor en el análisis de la estructura psicomotriz

Abstract

Los test han sido utilizados como instrumentos de valoración de diferentes componentes de la estructura psicomotriz desde los orígenes de la psicomotricidad como disciplina y como profesión. Esta práctica se ha consolidado en todos los ámbitos de intervención y en todas las franjas etarias, por lo que la generalización en su uso exige profundos niveles de análisis respecto a las consideraciones técnicas y éticas que subyacen. Nos proponemos poner en discusión su valor para el análisis de la estructura psicomotriz a efectos de reconocer su potencialidad, a la vez que señalar sus limitaciones y controversias. La información que arrojan los test porta un valor que sólo puede ser asignado en su articulación con el análisis de todos los elementos de la estructura psicomotriz, en tanto entendemos el hacer psicomotriz como la proyección que emerge del entrecruzamiento del equipamiento neurobiológico, las experiencias con un otro significativo y los discursos en torno al cuerpo.

The tests have been used as instruments for assessing different components of the psychomotor structure from the origins of psychomotor skills as a discipline and as a profession. This practice has been consolidated in all areas of intervention and in all age groups, so that the generalization in its use requires deep levels of analysis regarding the underlying technical and ethical considerations. We propose to discuss its value for the analysis of the psychomotor structure in order to recognize its potential, while pointing out its limitations and controversies. The information that the tests show carries a value that can only be assigned in its articulation with the analysis of all the elements of the psychomotor structure, while we understand psychomotor work as the projection that emerges from the intersection of neurobiological equipment, experiences with a significant other and the discourses around the body.
