Impacto del trauma perineal obstétrico sobre la sexualidad de las puérperas

Abstract

El tema a tratar será el impacto del trauma perineal obstétrico sobre la sexualidad de las puérperas. A lo largo de nuestra formación académica nos ha ido surgiendo curiosidad sobre el periné y su relevancia en la salud de las personas, pero durante este período no fue tratado en profundidad, es por esto que surge el interés de realizar este protocolo de investigación, el cual tiene como objetivo principal investigar el impacto del trauma perineal obstétrico causado por una episiotomía o desgarro perineal durante el parto sobre la sexualidad de las usuarias del Hospital Pereira Rossell en los primeros seis meses post-parto. Para el presente estudio nos surge la inquietud de investigar qué pasa en las mujeres luego de un parto con episiotomía o desgarro y cómo afecta la sutura de ese trauma y/o parto instrumental en su sexualidad, con especial enfásis en la repercursión de las relaciones sexuales y su respuesta sexual. Para lograr analizar estas variables es que nos planteamos otros objetivos específicos como: relacionar la repercusión del desgarro perineal o episiotomía como causalidad de la aparición de alteraciones sexuales: deseo, confort, lubricación, excitación y orgasmos; conocer si el modo de parto (instrumental o no), influyó en la decisión del reinicio de las relaciones sexuales en las mujeres; enumerar qué otros factores más frecuentes repercuten en la decisión del reinicio de las relaciones sexuales en las mujeres. Con el fin de cumplir con nuestros objetivos, llevaremos a cabo un estudio observacional del tipo cohorte de carácter mixto, el cual será realizado mediante encuestas con preguntas cerradas y semiabiertas a mujeres durante un período de seis meses postparto, lo que nos permitirá un seguimiento continuo de las participantes. Como único requisito se solicitará a las usuarias firmar un consentimiento informado que será previamente entregado, invitando a las usuarias y explicando objetivos y requisitos destacando que será una participación voluntaria y anónima. En definitiva es por esto que queremos contribuir a las herramientas ya existentes ante el manejo de estas situaciones intentando abarcar de manera más integral la relación entre ambos parámetros a investigar, apostando al crecimiento personal, académico y profesional del equipo de salud a través de nuevas miradas de temas ya existentes y poder visibilizar más de dicha temática.

The topic to be discussed will be the impact of obstetric perineal trauma on the sexuality of postpartum women. Throughout our academic training, we have been curious about the perineum and the relevance on people's health, but during this period it was not treated in depth, which is why the interest in carrying out this research protocol arises, whose main objective is to investigate the impact of obstetric perineal trauma caused by an episiotomy or perineal tear during childbirth on the sexuality of users of the Pereira Rossell Hospital in the first six months postpartum. For this study, we are concerned to investigate what happens to women after childbirth with an episiotomy or tear and how the suture of this trauma and/or Instrumental vaginal birth affects their sexuality, with special emphasis on the impact of sexual intercourse and sexual response. In order to analyze these variables, we set ourselves other specific objectives such as: To relate the repercussion of the perineal tear or episiotomy as a cause of the appearance of sexual alterations: desire, pleasure, lubrication, excitation and orgasms; to know if the mode of labour and childbirth (instrumental or not) influenced the decision to restart sexual relations in women; List what other more frequent factors affect the decision to restart sexual activities in women. In order to meet our objectives, we will carry out an observational study of the mixed cohort type, which will be carried out through surveys with closed and semi-open questions to women during a period of six months postpartum, which will allow us a continuous follow-up of the participants. As the only requirement, the users will be asked to sign an informed consent that will be previously delivered, inviting the users and explaining the objectives and requirements, highlighting that it will be a voluntary and anonymous participation. To conclude, for these reasons we want to contribute to the existing tools for managing these situations, trying to cover in a more comprehensive way the relationship between both parameters to be investigated, betting on the personal, academic and professional growth of the health team through new perspectives. of already existing topics and to be able to make more visible of said topic.
