Resumen:
Este trabajo analiza la Ley Integral para Personas Trans a partir de la teoría del reconocimiento, para establecer su alcance y significado político. El abordaje se realiza desde una perspectiva histórica, articulando investigación bibliográfica con análisis de contenido de la norma. Se concluye que la ley representa un paso significativo en términos de reconocimiento material y simbólico de las personas trans, cuyo potencial transformativo depende de su capacidad para coadyuvar al impulso de cambios estructurales.
This work analyzes the Comprehensive Law for Trans People from the point of view of theory of recognition, with the aim of establishing its scope and political significance. The approach is carried out from a historical perspective, articulating bibliographic research with content analysis of the law. It is concluded that the law represents a significant step in terms of material and symbolic recognition of trans people, whose transformative potential depends on their ability to contribute to the impulse of structural changes.
