El siguiente trabajo busca analizar la política desarrollada en Uruguay por el Instituto Nacional de Colonización, en el período progresista (2005-2019) a partir de los aportes del enfoque de la economía social y solidaria (Esys), haciendo énfasis en proyectos asociativos vinculados al sector ganadero. En la primera parte se realiza una revisión bibliográfica de los principales conceptos. En la segunda parte se realiza una contextualización histórica relacionada con la problemática de acceso a la tierra, haciendo una breve reseña de las etapas del proceso colonizador en nuestro país, donde se describen las principales políticas llevadas a cabo por el Instituto Nacional de Colonización en el período progresista. En la tercera parte se analizan este conjunto de políticas desde el enfoque de la economía solidaria y su aporte al desarrollo rural. Por último, se exponen las consideraciones finales.
The following work attempts to inquire into the contributions of the social and supportive economy present in the dissociative experiences in the livestock field in Uruguay as a result of a combination of public policies from the National Institute of Colonisation, during the liberal period. The first part of this paper presents a bibliographic description of the main concepts which frame this analysis, following a description of the agrarian social context, and the phases of the colonial process in Uruguay. Subsequently, the main effects of the colonial policies in the area and three cases of dissociative experiences, which have arisen from such policies: Colonia Arerunguá, Misiones pedagógicas Mariano Soler y Colonia Daniel Viglietti, will be described through the perspectives of the tenants and the institutional viewpoint of the occurring transformations. Finally, final considerations, and the challenges and successes of the policies will be exposed in the framework of ES&S.
