Este artículo analiza el lugar que ocupa la enseñanza de la ortografía en el sistema educativo uruguayo, por ende, la relevancia que se le confiere al conjunto de normas que regulan la escritura de nuestra lengua, por medio del análisis del espacio destinado en planes y programas desde la educación primaria y secundaria hasta llegar a la formación docente, especialmente la carrera de Idioma Español.La motivación ha sido describir el recorrido de los contenidos ortográficos desde educación primaria hasta formación docente, especialmente el profesorado de Idioma Español, y explicitar la grieta donde muchos estudiantes sucumben.Finalmente, promover un original método para dominar la ortografía reflexionando a partir de la experiencia propia
This article analyzes the place occupied by the teaching of orthography in the Urugua-yan educational system, therefore, the relevance given to the set of norms that regulate the writing of our language: through the analysis of the space allocated in plans and programs from primary and secondary education to teacher training, especially the Spa-nish Language career.The motivation has been to describe the course of the orthographic content from primary education to teacher training, especially Spanish language teachers, and to explain the crack through which many students succumb.Finally promote an original method to master Spelling reflecting from one’s own expe-rience
