Resumen:
La siguiente Tesis de doctorado es el resultado de una investigación etnográfica que se propuso
caracterizar la experiencia de la enfermedad oncológica, centrada particularmente en tres puntos.
Primero identificar los recorridos que los enfermos deben transitar en su calidad de tales y luego
definir el universo de creencias y emociones que acompañan todo ese proceso. Por último definir las
condiciones de enfermar en el mundo contemporáneo, y las alteraciones que se producen a nivel
identitario.
The following doctoral thesis is the result of an etnographic research that was proposed to charactarize the experience of the oncological disease, particulary focused on three points. First, identify the routes that patients pass through in their quality of such, then, define the universe of believes and emotions that acompany the process. Finaly, define the conditions of getting sice in the contemporary world and the interactions that occur at the identity level.
