Resumen:
El presente trabajo busca dialogar desde la perspectiva de género y el socioconstruccionismo sobre la violencia sexual a la que fueron sometidas las mujeres en el contexto del terrorismo de Estado en Uruguay (1973-1985). El ejercicio de la violencia sexual como método de tortura es entendido como una construcción socio-cultural sostenida y reproducida por las relaciones desiguales de poder entre los géneros, en este caso se trabaja sobre la violencia ejercida por los militares sobre las mujeres detenidas. Asimismo, se aborda la interacción y los movimientos entre el ámbito público y el privado como espacios que dan lugar a limitaciones y posibilidades para las personas comprometidas. Por consiguiente, se trabaja sobre la búsqueda de reconocimiento como víctimas, las concepciones que se construyen sobre el término y la capacidad de agencia de las mujeres en el proceso de la denuncia penal efectuada, abriendo nuevos caminos para la reparación tanto simbólica como material.
The present work seeks to dialogue from the gender perspective and the socioconstruccionism about the sexual violence the women were subjected in the context of the State terrorism in Uruguay (1973-1985). The exercise of sexual violence as a method of torture is understood as a socio-cultural construction sustained and reproduced by unequal power relationships between the genders, in this case it works from the violence exerted by the militaries on the women deteinees. Likewise, the interaction and movements between the public and private ambit are addressed as spaces that give rise to limitations and possibilities for the compromised persons. Therefore, it works on the search of recognition as victims, the conceptions that are built on the term and the women’s capacity of agency in the process of the executed penal denouncement, opening new ways for the symbolic reparation as well as material.
