El presente trabajo aborda el proceso de comunicación política en el marco de la iniciativa
de realizar el pre-referéndum para derogar la Ley Integral para Personas Trans. Se identifica
quiénes son los actores involucrados, cuáles son las vocerías y se delimita el proceso de
comunicación política, proporcionando marco teórico a la discusión. En este proceso se
abordan tensiones que surgen en torno a la legitimidad de los actores y particularmente los
cuestionamientos y discrepancias en torno a la legitimidad política del colectivo trans. A su
vez, se identifican los mensajes contradictorios emitidos en medios de prensa, que circulan
en el sistema político durante el último mes previo a la votación y se identifican algunas
opiniones de otros actores legitimados.
This investigation addresses the process of political communication involved in the initiative (“pre-referendum”) to derogate the Comprehensive Law for Trans People (“Ley Integral para personas Trans”). The actors and spokespersons are identified, the process of political communication is delimited, providing a theoretical framework for the discussion. Tensions surrounding the legitimacy of the actors in this process are analyzed, in particular those related to the trans community. At the same time, contradictory messages that circulate in the political system during the last month prior to the vote and opinions of some of other legitimate actors are identified.
