Introduction: The present research work was carried out with the objective of determining the frequency of association of autoimmune liver diseases in patients with systemic autoimmune diseases. Materials and methods: An observational, historical cohort, analytical, retrospective study of 220 cases was carried out with patients of external consults of the polyclinic of systemic autoimmune diseases at Hospital Maciel as a sample. Data from the electronic medical records of the patients were used, considering as main variables: the diagnosis of systemic autoimmune disease and its type, the alteration of the hepatogram, the specific serology of the different autoimmune liver diseases and systemic autoimmune diseases, the diagnosis of specific organ autoimmune disease and the different hepatic noxas. Results: There is a significant association between rheumatoid arthritis (RA) - primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) (p-value = 0.039) and systemic sclerosis (SS) - PBC (p-value = 0.008). With the remaining EAS there was no statistically significant association. A statistically significant association was observed between PBC and thyroid disease (p-value = 0.042). No statistically significant association was found between hepatogram alterations and the different liver diseases (valor-p= 0,653). Conclusions: Significant association of PBC with RA and SS, and with autoimmune thyroid pathology was evidenced. In line with what is described in the international literature.
