"El documental interactivo se presenta como un género narrativo que emerge en el contexto de la Sociedad de la Información con el desarrollo de internet, que trastoca el esquema tradicional del proceso de comunicación y coloca a la figura del espectador, que aquí se llamará interactor, en un lugar central que le otorga capacidades activas. Esta tesis aborda el fenómeno desde la perspectiva transversal de las relaciones de poder que se entretejen y busca reconocer y proponer categorías analíticas que contribuyan a su comprensión. El trabajo de investigación se encara desde un abordaje triple del fenómeno: desde la obra y sus características estructurales y definitorias, desde la perspectiva del interactor y los distintos roles que puede asumir, y desde el lugar del autor y la reconfiguración que produce sobre la noción de autoría".
The interactive documentary appears as a narrative genre that emerges in the context of the Information society with the development of the internet, which disrupts the traditional scheme of the communication process and places the viewer, which here will be called as interactor, in a central place that provides active capabilities. This thesis addresses the phenomenon from the transversal perspective of the interwoven power relations and seeks to recognize and propose analytical categories that contribute to its understanding. The research work is addressed from a triple approach to the phenomenon: from the oeuvre and its structural and defining characteristics, from the perspective of the interactor and the different roles they can assume, and from the place of the author and the reconfiguration it produces on the notion of authorship.
