The specialized literature points out numerous benefits in the use of didactic strategies based on simulation with actors for the training of students in the health area. These simulations allow the recreation of real situations in a controlled environment, offering a unique opportunity for the development of practical skills, improved communication and empathic learning. However, when only 30% of the students in a cohort have the opportunity to actively participate in these simulations, it is understandable that, year after year, when responding to the slogan “Suggestions for the course”, the majority of the Communication Skills (HHCC) students suggest “more Workshops with Actors”. This recurring observation was the starting point for formulating the central question that drove this study: what is the students' perception of the didactic simulation strategy 'Workshop with Actors' that they value it so positively in the teaching and learning processes of the community interviewing technique?. As the research progressed, new questions emerged that enriched the analysis: How do the different roles in the workshop with actors ( interviewer, participant observer, observer) perceive the dynamics of this strategy? What strengths and weaknesses do the students identify in the use of actors as a didactic tool for teaching the interview technique? Do they recognize a defined structure in the development of the workshops? What modifications or improvements do they suggest to optimize their effectiveness? These questions structure the focus of this research, whose purpose is to understand in depth the students' perception of this formative experience and its impact on the learning of simulation strategies with actors. Throughout the study, empirical evidence has been collected through various methodological tools, which has been subjected to rigorous validation processes to ensure the robustness and relevance of the findings. The detailed analysis of the data provides substantiated answers that can guide future pedagogical decisions on the implementation of this strategy.
