Relevamiento de la información que cuentan las mujeres para la elección del método anticonceptivo en las diferentes salas de espera del CHPR

Abstract

El presente trabajo se plantea desde la práctica que durante el trascurso de la carrera, en nuestras rotaciones por diversas instituciones pudimos observar en mal uso de los diferentes métodos anticonceptivos, teniendo altos porcentajes de embarazos no planificado por dicha causa. Poniéndonos como principal interrogante ¿cuentan las mujeres con información valedera al momento de elegir su método anticonceptivo? Para llevar a cabo la misma se realizaron 300 encuestas en el plazo de 1 mes, en las diferentes salas de espera del centro hospitalario Pereira Rossell. Se toman como criterios de inclusión, el lugar físico ya mencionado y la edad de las usuarias las cuales debieron oscilar entre 19 y 35 por ser considerada la edad reproductiva ideal, según la OMS. En la presente investigación se estudiaron diferentes variables como, la utilización o no de un método anticonceptivo, si fue elegido en base a información recibida, y de que fuente la adquirieron. En la muestra total de las encuestas se obtuvo como resultado, que el 75,3% de las mujeres comprendidas dentro de la edad del criterio de inclusión utilizan algún método anticonceptivo, del 100 % de las encuestadas el 81 % recibió información previo a la elección del método y el 63,3% , selecciono el método en base a la información adquirida. Del total de las mujeres encuestadas se destaca que el 52,3% obtuvo la información de los servicios de salud, un 18,3% la adquirieron por algún integrante de su familia, el 14,3% la recibieron de sus amigos, observándose que los valores más bajos de donde obtuvieron información fueron los centros educativos, Nivel terciario 2,3%, Nivel secundario 12,3% y Nivel primaria 0,3%. Observando este resultado final, se destaca que el servicio de salud es la fuente principal de asesoramiento acerca de métodos anticonceptivos, dentro del cual la Obstetra Partera es un pilar fundamental en Planificación Familiar conjuntamente con el equipo de salud.

The present work arises from the practice that during the course of the race, in our rotations by various institutions we could observe the misuse of the different contraceptive methods, having high percentages of pregnancies not planned for this cause. To carry out the same, 300 surveys were carried out within a period of 1 month, in the different waiting rooms of the Pereira Rossell hospital center. The inclusion of the aforementioned physical location and the age of the users, which must have been between 19 and 35, are considered as inclusion criteria, since they are considered the ideal reproductive age, according to the WHO. In the present investigation different variables were studied, such as the use or not of a contraceptive method, if it was chosen based on information received, and from which source they acquired it. In the total sample of the surveys, it was obtained that 75.3% of the women included in the age of the inclusion criteria use some contraceptive method; of the 100% of the respondents, 81% received information prior to the election. of the method and 63.3%, I select the method based on the information acquired. Of the total of women surveyed, it is highlighted that 52.3% obtained information from health services, 18.3% acquired it from a member of their family, 14.3% received it from their friends, observing that the lowest values from where they obtained information were the educational centers, tertiary level 2.3%, secondary level 12.3% and primary level 0.3%. Observing this final result, it is highlighted that the health service is the main source of advice on contraceptive methods, within which the Midwife Obstetrician is a fundamental pillar in Family Planning in conjunction with the health team.
